Tristi Tanaka

Head of the Chief Medical Office - Black Country and West Birmingham CCGs

Tristi has worked over 20 years in and with technologists on transformation and change across US NGO, UK public sector organisations and global private sector firms. Humbled to be named in Computer Weekly’s “Top 50 Most Influential Women in UK Tech”, she adapts her multi-disciplinary experience – health and care, public services, education and technology – evolving best practice using knowledge and experience in design and systems thinking, applying ethics-centred techniques to advise, design, adapt and deliver impactful products and services for users, communities and functions in the workplace while working to improve intended outcomes and reduce the negative, unintended impacts on wider society.

Passionate about equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB), she is focused on opportunities to give and share platform to the voices unheard and/or unseen. In her current role at the BCWB CCG, she supports the design, development and delivery of the Chief Medical Officer’s strategic portfolio including Primary Care, Clinical Policy and Medicines, Clinical Leadership and Engagement. Tristi’s portfolio work connects with her purpose in All4Health&Care and other like-minded networks to bring together allies seeking to develop solutions to identify and reduce health inequalities.
